Though I dislike Trump I thought at least he would give more unambiguous support for Israel but even he seems to be waffling, especially with his new Qatari airliner.

It's not just young people who are sucked into the pro-Palestinian trap, many of my 60-something left/ far left friends are fervent too. Herd mentality ---its hard to convince them that they are supporting a subjugative terrorist backed regime with Sharia elements versus the vibrant democracy that Israel is. Extremism on both sides in the US is killing our system, blinding us to international truths we used to be committed to.

This is exactly it Steve. The extremism on both sides. I always feared that the hard right would eventually adjust its support for Israel and Jews generally. We are not there yet and Trump will continue to support Israel but his future successors may take a far different approach.

Couldn’t agree more with your analysis Pieter. The very existence of the state of Israel is a blessing to the Jews, and also will serve as a constant reminder of how certain parts of the rest of the world fall short in their perspective and indeed actions.

The irony is thick. Leftist that pride themselves in being compassionate are the ones ushering in a new dark era. Have it too good for too long, and humankind will find the bottom of the barrel again and again…..

I was heartened to see how well Eden did in the public voting. 🩵

Thank you for continuing to bring the events you report on into the light. We all know mainstream media is not doing a great job at it, with a few exceptions.

It’s shameful that people can’t see that individual people aren’t responsible for the acts of their government.
