Well said Peter. Sadly negative campaigning works, unfortunately it does nothing to build unity in a fractured community. In the end, the truth will prevail.
Seem to remember a negative by-election gone by where the elected candidate had to resign after taking the seat…Municipal governance is prescribed and predictable with many rules and regulations that would never and should never apply to the ‘regular business’. Elimina may serve this new team well as a head parliamentarian (I have been invited to his training several times) and he is amazing on Roberts rule of order and alike. Friends can not be appointed to paid positions when working with public purse and you all know the community is awake now. Largest voter turnout I have ever seen.
